CBSE UGC NET January 2017 admit cards out on December 21

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the admit cards of the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) next National Eligibility Test (NET) examination will be available on its official website on December 21, 2016. The exam has been scheduled for January 22, 2017.

 

Dates to remember 

Online application form submission begins:  October 17, 2016

Last date for applying online:  November 23, 2016
Last date of submission of fee through online generated bank challan, at any branch of Syndicate / Canara / ICICI / HDFC bank: November 24, 2016
Correction in particulars of application form on the website:  November 28 to December 3, 2016
Uploading of admit card:  December 21, 2016
Date of examination:  January 22, 2017

 

Steps to download admit card

 

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website. To download CBSE UGC NET January 2017 exam admit card
1. Log on to the official website of CBSE UGC NET, cbsenet.nic.in
2. Click on the link  “Click here to download admit card for UGC NET January 2017 exam”
3. Enter details on the login page such as registration number, password or date of birth,      etc.
4. Click on the “Login/Submit” button to get the admit card
5. Download and save the admit card
6. Take a printout

 

According to the official notification, candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam without a printed hard copy of the admit card. They also have to carry along a valid ID proof (original and photocopy), and a passport sized photograph to the exam hall.
